The voleiBlue project was born in June 2013 and now covers about 3,500 children from 11 schools in Luanda and its surroundings, as well as 7 clubs from Luanda, Namibe, Lubango and Huambo.
Of these children, Refriango selected the 60 most talented to be part of BLUE Volleyball Club, which is a federated Volleyball Club that will compete at the Provincial, National and International levels.
This month, the company provided 12 of these children with traineeships in Portugal and participation in the International Volleyball Tournament in Esmoriz (Porto), attended by about 50 teams from 5 European countries. The men’s team qualified for the tournament’s final and the women’s team came in 4th place. One of voleiBlue athletes was nominated for player of the tournament.
